Battle.net and Blizzard.com have recently been displaying some fancy new splash screens alluding to something new and exciting - very possibly Diablo III. The splash screens, upon close inspection, show what appear to be runes. The world-wide invitational is scheduled for June 28th - the eight year anniversary of Diablo II. There is also a press conference scheduled for after the announcement at the event. All strong indicators of the announcement of a new game, with strong suggestions that it will be Diablo III.
